Do you have a flair for admin and have some spare time?

We are looking for someone who has experience of working in an office environment, preferably within the charity sector who has the capacity to volunteer in our Guildford Office. Duties would include:

•    First point of contact for referring clients
•    Meeting and greeting clients who are attending appointments at the office
•    Taking referrals over the telephone, and face to face
•    Using the charities bespoke database to record any contact with clients, typing up assessments, booking assessments and sending out confirmation letters
•    Contacting clients by phone and offering them counselling appointments.

You will have excellent communication skills, be a team player and will have a good understanding of IT skills including Microsoft word, Microsoft Excel and knowledge of Microsoft Access would be advantageous. You will be self motivated and able to work under your own initiative. This can be a pressurised role that requires excellent organisation and time management skills.

We are able to offer you free parking and ongoing training within the drug and alcohol sector.

The purpose of the intern programme is to provide graduates with meaningful work experience that enables them to gain an understanding of the way a charity works.

Are you a marketing or business graduate with strong analytical skills? Are you a dab hand at SWOT, PEST and other market analysis tools? Do you have great written and verbal communication skills? And does the idea of using your skills to make a real contribution to improving people’s lives appeal to you?  If you answered ‘yes’ to these questions, then read on.

At SAdAS, we have an exciting intern programme that will give you the chance to share and develop your marketing and business skills with a South East based drug and alcohol charity. SAdAS is a leading provider of high quality drug and alcohol services to the most disadvantaged people in the region.

This voluntary role offers the opportunity to enhance your CV with useful skills, gained through practical experience. The activities will be particularly useful for those interested in pursuing charity marketing and/or business development roles in the future.
