Trustee Biographies

Our trustees play an invaluable role in developing and safeguarding our services and reputation.

Peter Wallis

Chairman

Peter is a former senior civil servant with national and international experience. More recently he has been a consultant helping businesses build relationships at home and abroad. Between 1999 and 2003 he was a Lay Magistrate in South-West Surrey.

Warren Rockett

Deputy Chairman

Currently the Head of Global Security for an international industrial company following a long career with the police service during which time he led on drug partnership initiatives. He was a former member of the Surrey Drug Action Team and chaired its Drugs Availability Sub Committee.

Nigel Cudlipp

Immediate Past Chairman

As a qualified Chartered Accountant who has held senior management, finance & development roles in the hotel and other service sector areas, both in the UK and internationally, Nigel runs his own business start-up consultancy and has been concerned with starting enterprises to provide employment opportunities for disadvantaged people. Nigel is the financial lead for SadAS and is its immediate past Chairman.

Susan Bowen

Sue is Lead Nurse for Cancer Services within the NHS with an operational and strategic remit having specialised in cancer and palliative care for many years within all healthcare sectors and has taken a specialist interest in the provision of healthcare and counselling services provided from within the voluntary sector.

Elizabeth Grant

Elizabeth is a Head of Strategic HR Services in London and has many years experience working in human resources within local authorities and the civil service. She is particular skilled in the areas of Pay & Reward, Equalities, Policy Development, Performance Monitoring and HR systems.

Dr. Alan Davis

Alan is a part-time occupational physician. After many years as a GP, he qualified as a consultant occupational physician and worked as a full-time chief medical adviser to two FTSE 100 companies, with responsibility in one for health and safety. He has an MBA from Warwick University.

Kath Mills

Kath has worked in marketing and communications for over 20 years, gaining experience in commercial agencies as well as with a variety of not-for-profit organisations. She has led successful marketing teams for the last seven years, and is currently part of the UK senior management team for a global charity.
