I work within the Omni Outreach Team, but have worked with people with drug and alcohol misuse and mental health issues for a fair few number of years prior to this. No day is the same and you’re always learning. It can be challenging at times, but I find it to be ultimately rewarding work.

I’ve worked for SAdAS for 12 years now in a variety of roles but always with my primary concern being that of the client. Accruing various qualifications and experience along the way, I’m very happy in my work (not a lot of people can say that), know I’m not bad at it and am easily bribed with all food sorts (except celery!).

Responsible for the delivery of services. I have been with SAdAS for over 7 years and still enjoy every second of the job. My background is the Army for 12 years, 10 years with Local Authority in Scotland and 8 years with the Surrey Probation Service. Enjoy all sport and motorbikes. My favorite quote was from an army friend who said “it’s not the falling down that matters, it’s the getting up and continuing”.

As CEO of SAdAS I try to ensure our services are full of quality and that staff are well trained and happy in their work. I co-ordinate the work of the Senior Management Team and I liaise with people that buy our services. I am also committed to client work and maintain client contact.

I joined SAdAS as a Housing Support Worker in April 2009. I have previously worked in housing at a local authority and this gives me an ideal background for the legalities of tenancy support. I am motivated in keeping clients in their tenancy which in turn give stability and progression to a positive future. I love working with my clients, colleagues and love my job.

I am a member of the Links Housing Team. What I do - right, I am a Housing Support Worker outreaching to people whom we are working with to help maintain their tenancies and ensuring benefits are smoothly running, along with signposting to other Services. I visit people with tenancy issues to assess their needs prior to working with them, around their tenancy, benefits and debts with a view to working with them.
